Description

Sirloin flank steak is a piece of beef cut from the lower part of the animal's back.

This meat is known for its intense flavor and tenderness. It can be cooked in a pan or on the grill and is often served with grilled vegetables or a red wine-based sauce.

Sirloin steak is also used in many international cuisine dishes, such as Mexican fajitas and Vietnamese pho.

Butcher's Advice

    • Cook the sirloin steak for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
  1. Rest : After cooking, remove the sirloin steak from the heat source and let it rest for approximately 2 to 4 minutes. This will allow the juices to redistribute into the meat.

  2. Slicing and serving : Slice the sirloin steak into thin slices against the grain to serve. Serve it with your favorite sides, such as sautéed vegetables, roasted potatoes or a sauce of your choice.

As always, adjust cooking times based on the thickness of the sirloin steak and your cooking preferences.
