Description

Lamb skewers are a delicious and easy-to-prepare option for barbecues and grilling.

Lamb meat is juicy and flavorful, with a delicate texture that pairs well with herbs and spices.

The skewers can be grilled with vegetables for a complete and balanced dish.

Butcher's Advice

  1. Grilling : Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill to prevent the meat from sticking. Place the skewers on the hot grill. Turn the skewers occasionally to ensure even cooking. Cooking time will depend on the size of the lamb pieces and your cooking preference. Typically, for medium doneness, it will take about 10 to 15 minutes.

  2. Baking : If you don't have a grill, you can also cook the skewers in the oven. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with foil or a baking mat. Cook for about 15 to 20 minutes, rotating the skewers halfway through cooking.

  3. Checking doneness : To check doneness, cut a piece of meat from the center of the skewer. The lamb should be slightly pink inside to retain its juices and tenderness. If you prefer a more medium-rare cooking, cook a little longer, but be careful not to overcook to prevent the meat from becoming dry.
