Mon panier

Tenderloin is one of the most tender and popular cuts of beef. This meat is cut from the central part of the animal's back and is characterized by its delicate texture and mild flavor.

Filet is often served with rich sauces like béarnaise sauce or pepper sauce, and is often accompanied by green vegetables and roasted potatoes.

Tenderloin is often considered one of the most luxurious cuts of beef, due to its quality and rarity.

Butcher's Advice

  • If you prefer a more medium-rare cooking, you can start by searing the beef tenderloin in the pan, then transfer it to the oven to finish cooking.
  • Place the beef fillet in a baking dish.
  • Cook in the oven for around 10 to 12 minutes for medium doneness, for 500g.
  • After cooking, remove the beef tenderloin from the heat source and let it rest for about 5 to 10 minutes. This will allow the juices to redistribute into the meat.
  • Slice the beef tenderloin into thick slices against the grain to serve. Serve it with your favorite sides, like sautéed vegetables, roasted potatoes, or a sauce of your choice.
