Chicken Milanese is an Italian dish consisting of breaded and fried chicken cutlets.

At our house, chicken Milanese is prepared at home with fresh chicken and breadcrumbs for a crispy crust and tender, juicy meat. It is often served with vegetables and pasta.

Butcher's Advice

  • In a large skillet, heat enough cooking oil (about 1 cm deep) over medium-high heat.
  • When the oil is hot, carefully add the breaded cutlets to the pan. Around 2 minutes on each side, once nicely browned your escalope is ready!
